Sony Entertainment Television & AXN (1997–2008)

Sergio led the expansion of Sony Entertainment Television and AXN across Latin America, helping define the General Entertainment category at a time when no roadmap existed. He transformed both networks from early-stage operations into nine-figure revenue leaders by consolidating regional operations, anticipating audience shifts, and building programming strategies that shaped market trends.

E! Networks Latin America (2008–2016) President & General Manager

At E! Latin America, Sergio drove a comprehensive transformation from a linear channel into a multi-platform entertainment ecosystem. He launched eonlinelatino.com, scaling it to 60 million unique monthly visitors, and grew the region’s social platforms to account for over 40% of E!’s global digital audience, including the U.S. market.

Under his leadership, E! expanded into radio, digital, events, and original production—including the network’s first-ever scripted series—cementing its relevance with new, younger audiences.
